Programs

CPHD identifies critical gaps in the systems and then designs its initiatives around them. The objective is to ensure that every patient receives care and is not turned away for inadequate infrastructure, equipment, or inefficient staff. Its initiatives are centered on these areas:

MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTHCARE | SAFE SURGERY | CRITICAL CARE | SELF-SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS

Maternal and child healthcare

Over the years, maternal and child health has become a cornerstone focus of CPHD’s work. All of CPHD’s initiatives have an impact on maternal and child health, but 2 programs are specially focused to address this issue.

Safe surgery

Instead of being life saving, surgeries are  costing lives or causing damages because of unsafe practices. CPHD has designed a comprehensive plan to reduce errors and adverse outcomes in surgical cases.

Critical care

The need for critical units is increasing daily considering the high mortality rate from trauma and other illnesses. Health caregivers require special training in comprehensive care and monitoring while facilities need to ensure it has proper equipment and staff to manage such cases. CPHD's efforts aim to improve this.

Self-sustainable solutions

CPHD has founded three social enterprises to make oxygen accessible and affordable for all level of facilities, prevent adverse health outcomes for lack of equipment maintenance and knowledge, ensure primary healthcare and quality pharmacies are accessible for the poor.
